A Letter from the MAGA Editor!

 

  Thank You Cruz Sanchez for organizing our Scholarship Fundraisers. This past weekend was our 2nd Yard Sale.

We were able to collect $695 from the sales of our stuff, we also had a few donations from our members ($500, $400, $135).

All of this for a grand total of $1,730, I wish to thank the Sanchez Family for all the hard work and allowing us to use their yard.

Also, the Carrizales Family and Murrietta Family for helping, and also my wife Rachel, for setting up. taking down and support.

I especially would like to thank all of you that donated items for the yard sale, also those that donated the cash/checks.

I have made a donation letter, that includes our Tax ID# for those interested in writing off your donations.

I just need to know who needs one, I will have some available at Eagle Springs Tournament, or I can mail one to you.

 

  The Little Caesars Pizza Scholarship Fundraiser is still available for a few days, if interested check your website and order soon!

 

  Just a heads-up, another fundraiser has been organized for June, the 13 - 15th at Spaghetti Factory.

Details will be sent to you as soon as I get them. I do know it is for delivery and pickup only.

So who doesn't like spaghetti, right. Remember every dollar spent, our children will reap the benefits (Education).

 

Also, the August Tournament at Black Horse Golf Course is now full, we have 48 players signed up.

But we still have room for Alternates, just in case someone can't make it. Let me know and I will add you to the list.

 

  Just a Heads-Up, I will be in Phoenix this whole weekend till Tuesday. So if you are interested in signing up for Eagle Springs.

Please EMAIL, it will be so much more convenient, less chances of not getting you on the list. We have 33 players so far!

Fresno Members Must Read!

2018 Rules Updates

 2019 Club Dues, this year’s cost has to increase due to elevated expenses. Regular Member $70, New Member $80, Exempt Member $60, Junior Member $18. We will be starting to collect on October 1st, 2018 through December 31st, 2018. Anyone not paid by due date will be dropped from our NCGA Fresno MAGA Roster on January 1st, 2019. Fresno MAGA will not be paying for anyone this next year, due to some individuals that promised to repay our chapter, but didn’t. If you wish to rejoin the club after January 1st, 2019, NCGA charges an additional fee of $10 to re-instate you. Also, if you are dropped, you will lose the consecutive years in MAGA, if you have the age and year’s requirement to be exempt.

   New No-Show rule, No-Show Fee will be increased to $20 and also it will entail an Advanced Payment for next Tournament signed up for. The No-Show individual will not be allowed to play another tournament until the Fee ($20) and the Tournament cost are paid in advance.

NCGA Qualifiers rule:  Participating Players will pay an additional $15 per person. Winner(s) will pay $35 per person for the next round.  So, the winners will pay a total of $50 each to participate in the next NCGA round, the club will cover the remainder of the cost depending on participation.

(Last year’s fees were $540 each tournament.)  This Qualifier must have a minimum of 5 Teams (20 participating players).
